Municipal Tax Changes July 2025

Changes in municipal taxes take effect in two South Dakota Communities

Beginning July 1, 2025, the communities of Newell and Wagner will be implementing a 1 percent municipal gross receipts tax on lodging accommodations, eating establishments, alcohol sales, and admissions.
