Lost Vehicle Plates, Registration Stickers, or Title by Mail

minute read

My Vehicle's Plates/Stickers/Title Were Lost In The Mail. What Do I Do?

Although this may be uncommon, lost mail can happen. If your license plates, registration stickers or your vehicle's title was lost in the mail after waiting 10 business days to receive them, it can be replaced by completing the form below.

Upon completion, you agree to the terms that you will not use your replacement license plates or registration stickers for any other vehicle other than the identified vehicle you have listed.

If your lost item shows up in the mail, you are to immediately return them to the county treasurer’s office you purchased them from. If you purchased your plates or registrations online or at one of our DMV Now Kiosk locations, please return them to the motor vehicle division.
